Semibreve is an international festival dedicated to exploratory electronic music and the digital arts, taking place each October, since 2011, in the bi-millennial city of Braga, located in the north of Portugal and recently classified by UNESCO as Creative City for the Media Arts. The festival brings to Braga both new and established artists from the electronic music and digital arts domain and includes a dedicated program focused on academic works by students of Portuguese media/digital arts universities. Semibreve also hosts a yearly international award for the digital arts, the Edigma Semibreve Award.
